The VMC1170 Vertical CNC Machining Center is designed for industrial production, combining a larger machining envelope and worktable capacity with stable milling, drilling, tapping, and contour machining for steel, cast iron, and general mechanical components. 
1.The vertical spindle configuration supports common operations including milling, drilling, tapping, boring, and contour machining, making the VMC1170 suitable for a wide range of mechanical, mold, and industrial components.
2.Industrial machining is not simply about achieving the highest spindle speed. The VMC1170 is intended to match spindle performance and machine structure with the material, tooling, and cutting load, supporting both material removal and finishing operations.
3.For parts requiring multiple cutting tools, an automatic tool changer reduces downtime caused by manual tool changes and allows more operations to be completed within a single machining program.
4.Not every VMC1170 application requires the same configuration. Spindle options, tool magazine, CNC control, fourth-axis equipment, coolant system, and chip removal should be selected according to material, part geometry, and production requirements rather than adding unused features.

High rigidity—stable, vibration-free operation during heavy-duty cutting. High speed—suitable for both roughing and finishing. High precision—helps reduce the scrap rate.
The use of high-precision linear guideways and ball screws from HIWIN (Taiwan) significantly enhances positioning accuracy. The system ensures exceptional motion smoothness—free from jerking or stick-slip—and supports rapid traverse speeds of up to 24, 36, or 48 m/min.
The equipment features an all-metal enclosure. With a sheet metal thickness of 2 mm—far exceeding market standards—it ensures maximum safety for operators during operation.
When the part geometry and tool accessibility allow it, milling, drilling, tapping, and other operations can be integrated into one CNC program, with the automatic tool changer handling different tools. This can reduce repeated setups and manual repositioning.
